SHSAT Mock Exam Instructions

The goal of the mock exam is to determine your current skill level across different SHSAT topics and types of questions. Understanding your baseline is crucial for us to craft a personalized and specific study plan during tutoring to enhance your overall performance on the actual SHSAT test.

BEFORE THE TEST

  • Allocate approximately 3 hours of undisturbed time in a quiet, well-lit environment. You will need sharpened or mechanical pencils.

  • There are no breaks, so take care of all personal needs beforehand and prepare yourself for an uninterrupted session.

WHILE TAKING THE TEST

  • Aim to replicate actual test conditions as closely as possible. Take as long as you need, but keep track of how long each section takes you and write it down.

  • It's advisable not to linger too long on any single question. If you find a question particularly challenging, unclear, or time-consuming, circle it for us to work on during your trial lesson.
